I really dislike judgmental, ignorant, close-minded, conceited people. I can close an eye to someone with one or maybe even two of these features, but all of them together just makes me feel disdainful toward the two bearers of these traits whom I’m thinking of. It’s bad enough that these people are too quick to pass judgment without knowing all the facts and without even the open-mindedness to see that they don’t have all the information, but to have the arrogance to wave the verbal banner that they’re right and that anyone who goes against their judgment is stupid…wow. The attitudes of these two people will be detrimental to their personal growth.
(I may feel more strongly about this presently due to hormonal fluctuations, but hormones don’t alter my opinion – only the level of my response.)
Hey! Well I don’t like you, either!
hahahahahahaha!
Maybe this isn’t the right post to comment to, but thanks for your thoughtful comment on my blog today. It really perked me up for much of the day and got me to study an extra hour, at least. (That’s huge.) I’m glad that your writing has a stopping ground here, because for so long I have admired your writing ability. And piano ability. And I’ve known you a long time, so not only is it a very long period of admiration, but it makes your observation of me even that much more heartfelt.
On the topic of people with the said characteristics above, I feel your pain. I, uh, know a couple of people like that.
Karen – wow! I had no idea that my little comment could inspire such a lift (of both emotions and study habits) in you! I’m so happy to hear that! And thanks for your comment, as well. I had an awful last couple of hours but now I do feel much better and less of a loser. Good to see that we both use our superpowers for good, not evil.
This is some really great information. I’m shocked by the quality of your blog
