A fellow classmate gave me a CD-ROM of jujitsu photos. I didn’t even know when some of these photos were taken. I figure since I write so much about jujitsu, I may as well share some of these images with you. Please keep in mind that these photos appear to have been taken the 2nd week of class, and I had just gotten my gi and hadn’t washed/preshrunk it yet, so it’s oversized. Or maybe there’s a reason why my class nickname is “the little one.”
“Josh, you’re doing the arm-bar shoulder throw,” said the instructor. “Cindy, slap him.” Oh, how nice.
There’s me. Being shoulder-thrown after a blocked slap.
That’s what I’m going to do to you next time you try to slap me.
(He thinks about who’s going to do what to whom and decides to take it back.) Uh, I take it back. With all this jujitsu you’ve been doing, I’ve decided to be nicer to you.
Man, I’ve learned my lesson about slapping you. I can’t again deal with all your whining and crying and carrying-on about how I must’ve smacked your eyeballs right out of your face and how someone needs to call an ambulance right away.
You slap someone that hard, you gotta deal with the whining. It’s a rule.
Here I am working graves and reading you blog… what do I see? Pix of when we first met (or around that time) Awwww!!!!
