I just have to add this little bit in here…GO BRUINS! We took the win against Stanford this past Saturday by the skin of our teeth in overtime. USC is also still undefeated in their, what, now 30-game winning streak? So the upcoming UCLA-USC game should be very interesting. I suggested putting some money on the game to make it more interesting, and my supervisors promptly informed me that wagering of any kind here is illegal, and apparently remains so even if I were not betting monetarily.
I missed the game this past weekend again because I was at Edgar’s birthday dinner, but college roommie Diana, who was actually AT the game in Stanford, text messaged me updates. “UCLA-Stanford tied 24-24 with almost no time left”. And then, “Bruins won, overtime 34-28!!!”
Does anyone know WHEN the UCLA-USC game is? I should plan something for that Saturday.
USC-UCLA on December 3rd, being played at the Coliseum. Kickoff at 1:30 pm PST. TV – ABC local channel 7.
i got money that UCLA wins, and i’ve been saying it since the beginning of the year. final score UCLA 38- USC 34. This is the only year that i have ever cheered for UCLA in football.
Thanks for the info!
Well, of course you couldn’t support my alma mater while we were together, that would’ve made your friends call you names, like p-whipped.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but names can never hurt me.There’s nothing wrong with being p-whipped to the right girl. I couldn’t support the bruins because they weren’t winning. Just like you didn’t keep up with them until now, because they are winning. I’m a CANE at heart anyway. Remember i root for SC as my california team, but i want UCLA to win this year for some odd reason.
So you’re more of a jump-on-the-bandwagon type of fan. I support them no matter what, I just wasn’t following football before cuz there really wasn’t anything to follow. They were eliminated pretty early on.
I’m not on the UCLA bandwagon, i said they’d beat SC since before the season started, so i don’t think that classifies me as bandwagon. They are excting with all their comeback wins, i think they will play their best against SC, they have 3 weeks off before the game. SC of course has 2 weeks off.
One thing that i do for UCLA is recruit for them, i tell all my patients that are applying to college to pick UCLA over USC because it is a better academic institution. Alot better. 🙂
UCLA doesnt stand a chance against SC( sorry cindy but I gotta state the obvious) especially when they got their asses handed to them by Arizona today. I call it 42-10 SC!
