When did my conversations with the Do-Cat deteriorate into something like this, from this morning? :
Me: *peering into litter box, and gasping with great excitement* Yay, you POOED! You’re such a good BOY! *pat pat*
Dodo: Stop it. You’re embarrassing me. Now Q-tip my ears.
Me: Okay.
Vanessa sent me some photos of China this morning to get me excited for the upcoming trip. Photos such as:
I can’t hope to take photos like this in China, can I? 🙁
Those pix are so relaxing and you have a new, fancy camera to take pictures with, too. Make sure to take your camera charger.
My mom said the problem isn’t the camera charger — it’s that we need a converter because the China plugs are different from our US plugs.
Good thing your Mom told you before hand so you can prepare.
How beautiful. I wish I could go!!!
Yeah for poo!
I *am* going.
Those plug converters are easy to find :).
Just make sure the voltage and hertz are compatible with whatever country you’ll be visiting (It’ll say the range on the a/c adapter), and you can get the physial adapters at most places, like radio shack.
WOW I thought electricity stuff was a universal thing. Learn something new ev ah ree day!!
This sounds so complicated! I’m just gonna steal my parents’ converter.
the converter used for china/asia is the same as that used in europe, i think. 240 V. but you can even get kit that has all the converters you will ever need for traveling around the world.
If the all-inclusive converter isn’t too expensive, maybe that’s a good investment. It’d be a pain to have to do research on electrical output whenever I wanna travel somewhere.
right- the kit isn’t too expensive. less thatn $30. and it’s compact.
i love Guiling China, it’s a wonderful place for traveling. I was there a year ago for three days.
