“I hate Sandra Bullock. I’m not watching any of her movies.” (early90s)
“I hate rap.” (junior high, late 80s)
“I’ll probably be marrying my first or second boyfriend because I’m so picky that by the time I agree to be in a relationship, he’d have to be perfect.” (1st year of college, mid 90s)
“I hate computers. When I grow up I’m never touching another one.” (elementary school through 7th grade, 80s)
LOL Did Speed 2 cause you to say that about Sandra Bullock?
Mr. W is perfect, isn’t he? PERFECT 4 U!!!
I never watched Speed 2. I thought Speed 1 (aka “Speed”) was terrible. But among my favorite movies today are Miss Congeniality, Hope Floats, and of course, The Lake House. While You Were Sleeping isn’t bad, either.
Mr. W IS perfect for me, but he’s not #1 or #2. Haha.
“Girls are yucky and will always be yucky.” Me, age 10.
“Write that down.” My dad.
Adam – Were you reading that off your piece of paper just now?
A lot of girls ARE yucky. Pubescent boys just forget that, but they remember it again after they get married. Haha.
at the beginning of high school, i had always maintained that girls had cooties. i don’t know when it happened, but sometime during high school i had realized how true that statement really was. it’s also true that, in high school, i realized that i wanted those cooties too.
oh my gosh! speed is good! so is two weeks notice, the net, two if by sea, forces by nature, and murder by numbers.
Wilco – what are “cooties” to you? spit?
Haha, when I got the notification of your latest comment, as soon as I read “speed” I thought of methamphetamines and had no idea why you were throwing out cliche phrases, and I wondered whether YOU were on speed, so I came here and realized you were talking about movie titles.
i definitely can see the last one…i still hate computers!!! they just cause more problems then what they are worth, in my opinion…ha
I stare into the glow of the monitor way more hours than I stare into the glow of my beloved’s eyes. And that includes furry faces’ golden eyes, too.
that’s sad – but so true! I just posted a forward similar to your comment…but I guess we all have to ‘stay connected’ somehow though, I guess? ha
