We’re moving. Right now. I’m in the new house with the new cable internet. Mr. W got his son and three of the son’s friends to help out. They’re taking a pizza break in the back yard. We got most of the stuff out of my house this morning on the U-Haul, there are other personal things I need to go back to get, most importantly of which is the very freaked out, hiding-in-the-closet Dodo.
See you soon!
That’s good that Mr. W got help to move because moving is no fun! Especially the day of. It takes so much out of you. I remember moving out of my Dad’s and having to climb up three flights of stairs to get to my new place. My help looked at me and you could tell they probably wanted to strangle me. Needless to say, dinner was on me that night.
Happy moving!
YEA!!! HAPPY MOVING!!! I’m sure you have used those pretty arm muscles to lift boxes and such. Don’t hurt yourself tho…keep your back STRAIGHT and don’t bend at the waist!! I think I sound like a mother all of a sudden. That’s weird.
dodo – it’s okayyyyyyy! *hugs*
CONGRATS!!!
once dodo realizes that you’re not going to pack up and leave without his, he will be loving his spacious new house =) can’t wait to visit!
dodo come to aunt jordan’s house….
Meow?
Vanessa – Moving sucks, yes. Carrying stuff is painful. But the WORST of it is packing! My judge (who had a job working for a moving company when he was in college) said the other day that he feels for me because he’d rather move a piano than pack a box.
Flat Coke – haha, thanks for caring about my back! It would SUCK if I were in a wheelchair at my own wedding! But it went well. Mr. W is pretty sore, but the guys didn’t let me do any heavy lifting, so I’m fine.
anny – Dodo’s fine NOW. His first night was hellish, tho.
flip flop girl – Can’t wait for you to come visit, either! We are TOTALLY bike-able to the lake!
Jordan – let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Just bring your Claritin when you come in two weeks. (Wow, seems so soon.)
James – Gosh you sound an awful lot like my cat.
