Missing Vista’s 15 Warning Screens For Each Action

I was convinced to join one of those ubiquitous social networking sites this weekend. I find the damn thing to be one of the most user-unfriendly interfaces ever, as warned by Dwaine. A few minutes ago, I don’t know what the hell I pushed, but apparently it sent out “friend” invitations to everyone in my email address book! That means people who are ALREADY my friend on this site, people who may not know me but who had included me on a forward list, people I’ve responded to in a group response to some email forward, EVERYONE. What.the.fock. I do not want that many people knowing my business!
If you get one of those invitations, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it!
ew. that happened to me once too. i hope nobody that u didn’t intend to send an invite to adds u.
ME TOO!!! Wah.
I did the same thing. Not once.. but TWICE. I invited people on my email that I didn’t want on my facebook!! YUCK. Facebook needs to be more user friendly.. now some people I don’t like think I want them on my FB!! It’s ok, once they accept (if they do) I’m going to delete them .. BAH HA HA HA HA
I have delete ppl on facebook before. It does not send them a message that you’ve deleted them, you quietly DISAPPEAR from their friends list. I’ve noticed I really have to pay attention on FB before clicking something. It loves to send messages to a group.
Well, it seems all these stupid social networking sites have the same problem, then. As Flip Flop Girl said on IM to me yesterday, they just want as many people as they can to join their evil empire. Even if it means tricking people into getting new members for them.
Oh, thanks for the suggestion to just delete afterwards, I guess I can systematically unfriend people as I go. =P
