Where’ve I been, you wonder? Well I’m so glad you asked! I’ve been here:
Anyone recognize the famous landmarks here? More to come!
I also realized while “doing” stuff this past weekend that I’d inadvertently left out a few things from my List, namely:
* swimming offshore in Barbados
* reliving the 19th Century on Prince Edward Island
* white-water rafting down the American River, camping downstream along the way (I want to do this REALLY soon, anyone wanna join?)
Breath taking!!! I’m so glad you got to get away to such a beautiful place. So pristine!
Now when did you say you’d be using that Smokey Mtn pass?
Guess what??? I can see you blog pix at work again. YAY! The pix is BEAUTIFUL!!! I should make a trip make there now that I am older. Did you camp there?
Flat Coke – I’m not sure. When’s a good time to visit TN? When’s the weather good for outdoor hikes and stuff?
busykitty – YAY! You should see my other photos! I just need time in front of the home computer to put them up. We didn’t camp there, we stayed in a hotel kinda far away.
I can’t swim, but I will try white water rafting. Glenn will come too. If I can train Ares to stay in the boat I’ll bring him too. I know they have doggie life vests.
Cindy–most people FLOCK to the Smokey Mountains the 2nd and 3rd weeks of October. It offers the true beauty of the leaves changing into a million different colors. Well, maybe not a million, but a variety of oranges, yellows, and reds. Plus the weather is cooler and is great for hiking. Plus you wouldn’t want to miss a little rain (makes the mountains “SMOKEY”)
vicky – are you SURE you can’t swim? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen you doggy-paddle and/or do the deadman’s float. Beyond that, all you need to do is kick and you’re fine.
Check this out, I sooo wanna go. Think this summer is possible for you guys?
