Oh! Okay, I'll hold off on tossing the sippy cups out the window. The papers from the doctor's office said to introduce "a cup" to the baby at the first sign of a tooth or at 6 months, and I thought they meant grownup cups.

I love the sippy cup after my kid was 18 months. That's how she drinks water around the house and in the car without making a mess. I also leave that within her reach at night so she can get a drink of water if she needs to in the middle of the night, especially when the heater is on and makes her throat dry

Sippy cups will become your best friends! They figure out how regular cups work pretty quickly, but actually being able to use one without spilling it everywhere is a LONG way off. Usually, they just lose concentration of what they are holding and dump the contents out somewhere.

And when she gets more mobile, she will start carrying it around with her, and it is pretty obvious to see why a real cup won't work for that;-)

Jade - how did your molds turn out? Happy Mother's Day!

erin - isn't he tiny? heartbreaking, huh? =/ But he's in better spirits. Even Jayne observed that; she was saying he came downstairs and hung out with them for awhile yesterday.

I rec'd another one from Monica Livia, NY today (May 14, 2012) and a least a dozen in the past year. It all started about 18 months ago and since then, from at least 10 different Psychics. Only good that's coming from this whiich I'm glad of, its keeping the postal system busy & the recycyling guys, too. They need to keep their jobs. I wonder why they just don't deduct from our millions & not charge us a dime for every letter that they mail us. But I guessing THIS IS THEIR JOB (the easy way out). They should go back to school & change their profession. Only thing i do is remove my name and address & in the bin it goes. But if anything should change (I receive some $$) I'll invite you guys to dinner :=}

I really liked the dialogues between you and Allie. Funny and sweet. Oh and what a coincidence that I also received the same foot/hand mold kit picture frame as Mothers' Day gift yesterday. :)

I don't think so, either, but people will actually assume she's a boy, or ask me if she's a boy or girl, even when she's wearing all pink and hearts and flowers! Like I'd put Riley in an outfit like that.
