Thank Heavens for Li’l Things

Tonite at the end of bellydancing I added a new item to my gratitude list (which we give thanks for in our heads during a 1-minute silence as we stand holding hands in a big class circle). I am grateful for having hair to be screwed up.
Walking out to my car, I discovered another one. I didn’t have a coughing fit the entire day! I mean, I had the scattered coughs, but I didn’t double over in uncontrollable waves of heaves and hacks to the point of gagging. Sleeping with Vanessa’s humidifier on the past few nights may have done some magic. Yay for healing lungs and good friends’ caretaking.
Sounds like you’ve got some lubricated lungs now to help quit the cough. That’s great!!
I’m glad you have hair too. I don’t think you’d look right if you shaved your head like Britney Spears.
Aww! That’s what friends are for. It’s the least I could do for always taking care of me!
Hey that’s great that your cough is clearing up. I’ve had the 2-3month cough thing and it really sucks not knowing when it is going away. And it’s always such a releave when it actually gets better!
I can’t believe you still have that cough. If it continues, I want you tested for TB asap… but it sounds like you just had one helluva virus.
the number 666 is in my security code I have to enter… evil!
Flat Coke – as brave as I am about matters of hair, I don’t have the balls to shave it off completely. I’m just not confident about the shape of my head.
Vanessa – ditto! 🙂
James – Yeah, I’m pretty relieved.
Jordan – seriously? You really think I have TB? *hack*
Get a chest xray Cindy!!!
How do I get my HMO to agree?
Just ask your PCP for one and he will fill out the referral ppwk and off you go. Normally, if you are in a medical group like St. Jude you will be able to get it the same day.
