WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? — MAN ASKS WIFE AT BROTHEL
Wed Jan 9, 2008 12:29pm EST
WARSAW (Reuters) – A Polish man got the shock of his life when he visited a brothel and spotted his wife among the establishment’s employees. Polish tabloid Super Express said the woman had been making some extra money on the side while telling her husband she worked at a store in a nearby town.
“I was dumfounded. I thought I was dreaming,” the husband told the newspaper Wednesday.
The couple, married for 14 years, are now divorcing, the newspaper reported.

To quote an episode of Friends:
Phoebe [pretending to pick up phone and putting it to her ear]: “Hello, kettle? This is Monica. You’re black.”
Well, if he ever misses her he knows where to go and the price. I wonder if she’d give him a discount?
true dat on the kettle/black thing….. but then the article didn’t say that HE asked for the divorce….
Dwaine – I would think she’d charge him extra and call it spousal support.
When I read the title of the Reuters article, I remember your story of how you’re the evil twin who always gets Andrae in trouble, and you said, “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been called into the principal’s office and I walk in and Andrae’s already sitting there. And I’m like, ‘What are YOU doing here?’, and Andrae goes, ‘I’M GONNA KILL YOU!!!’ ”
Jordan – that’s a good point, didn’t even occur to me. Altho you are correct in assuming that I’d assumed he was a hypocrite for divorcing his wife, I didn’t say that SHE wasn’t the hypocrite for divorcing her husband for going to a brothel.
right.. and I thought about that as soon as I hit the send button…
if either asked for a divorce in direct relation to finding the other at the brothel/place of employment, then of course that’s hypocritical.
maybe they sat down after that episode and discussed why they were both there and decided that due to THOSE reasons, they would split.
or.. they’re divorcing amicably and laughing at the fact they both ended up there (not likely though)
or… they were divorcing before this ever happened and it was just the icing on the cake for both of them
but if she was working at a brothel part time to help make ends meet (which I assume they both have other jobs) then it’s probably not HER asking for the divorce because that would be more of a financial strain…. UNLESS… she’s shacking up with someone she met at the brothel..
i guess i could go on ALL day about this!
haha
Jordan, if I ever need an excuse to divorce someone, I’m comin’ straight to you.
