I got this forwarded questionnaire from my friend Raquel (whom I call “Rocky”), and these are my answers.

2. Were you named after anyone? Nah, picked it myself out of a dictionary.
3. Favorite hobby? presently, blogging. But it’s probably more of a necessity (therapy) than a hobby.
4. When did you last cry? I sat with stunned tears in my eyes a few days ago, but I kept it under control and nothing came out, not sure if that qualifies as “crying.” OMG, I just remembered that last nite I dreamt I cried my eyes out. Does THAT count?
5. Do you like your handwriting? If I bother w/it, yeah! I can make it fancy smancy. Artsy fartsy.
6. What is your favorite lunch meat ? not really a fan of luncheon meat. whatever’s low fat/reduced cal, I guess. don’t like the real salty stuff like ham.
7. What is your birth date? 6-29-76 (wow, the 70s. so long ago.)
8. What is your most embarrassing CD? Britney Spears, “In the Zone.” No wait. A CD of bluegrass midis that my cousin burned for me. Now THAT’s bad.
9. If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you? I think so. I’m a damn good friend. DAMN good, you lucky people on my list, ya hear me? I’m gonna raise my friendship dues next month.
10. Are you a daredevil? Within reason. I don’t take dumb risks. I take calculated ones.
11. What is your favorite cartoon character? Lilo! She’s me as a kid.
12. Do looks matter? Uh, MINE do. Everyone else, there are plenty of things to make up for lacking in the looks department. Good sense of humor, good personality, loyal friend, great mind, nice body…hee hee.
13. How do you release anger? Blogging. Or calling a friend and bitching about it. And then I’m good. Altho sometimes, the quickest way is to simply stomp out the offending person from my life.
14. Where is your second home? My parents’ house.
15. Do you trust others easily? Haha, haels no.
16. What was your favorite toy as a child? Sonja, a very pretty doll; my Malibu Barbie; one of those walking barking dogs my great-grandmother got me when I was 5 that my mom threw in a fit of anger and broke its neck. Actually, that’s what happened to my 1st Barbie, too.
17. What class in high school do you think was totally useless? None of them! The closest was probably Calculus. No wait. Computers was pretty lame, considering NO ONE uses any of those antiquated, archaic DOS-based programs anymore. Except for LA County. Which is my employer. Hmm. Yeah, I’m gonna say Calculus.
18. Do you have a journal? I have many journals. Some written, some typed, some online. Everyone on my recipient list already has my blog addy.
19. Do you use sarcasm a lot? ME??? SarCAStic? Not at ALL!
20. What are your nicknames? Cindoe, Cind, Cin, Cindodoe (William IS odd w/the nicknames, Rocky, you’re right. But the one he gave you [Most Beautiful Girl in the World] is better than the one he gave me. Haha.), and various dumbass pet names from exes.
21. Would you bungee jump? Only if I mean to cut the cord.
22. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? pretty much never.
23. Do you think that you are strong? I’m not sure my being “strong” is as accurate as my shell being strong. I’m definitely once-bitten, twice shy.
24. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mint Chip and Thrifty’s Black Cherry.
25. Shoe Size? 7, 7.5, depending on the type of shoe. If it’s a running shoe, 8.

27. What is your least favorite thing about yourself? lower abdominal fat that sits on me like puffy raw ciabatta dough.
28. Who do you miss most? Last nite, I dreamt I was hanging out w/Grace.
29. Will everyone you send this to send it back? I seriously doubt it. But I didn’t send it to the people who normally get stuff like this from me (and ignore it), and I also avoided the super busy people who don’t even respond to emails normally.
30. What color pants and shoes are you wearing? black dual-layered chiffon skirt, black fitted ankle boots.
31. What are you listening to right now? the hum of the computer and the A/C. My bailiff has left me for the moment.
32. Last thing you ate? Banana on my drive to work. Which reminds me, I think I forgot to take the peel out of my car to throw away! Eww. I guess I know what my car’s gonna smell like. I think I’ll go take care of that as soon as I send this out.
33. If you were a color what would you be? yellow! or maybe baby blue. (Hey look, UCLA colors!)
34. What is the weather like right now? cool and overcast. Perfect to justify my slightly oversized holey sweater and flowy short skirt. =) I am sooo comfortable in this outfit. It feels like the 80s.
35. The last person you talked to on the phone? [College roommie] Diana (on the drive to work this morning. she was checking up on me.)
36. The first thing you notice about the opposite sex? clothes; the overall put-together look. then if that passes muster, I look at the face. Most people don’t pass muster and I make no eye contact.
37. Do you like the person who sent this to you? I love her. And I miss her. And her hubby, too.

47. Summer or winter? I’m always ready for the other one when I’ve had too much of one. I’m so excited for it to get colder so I can wear my turtlenecks! =) And fuzzy sweaters! =) =) (It’s all about the little things in life.)
48. Hugs, nice words or a gift? when I first read this question, I thought they wanted me to categorize whether “hugs” is just a nice word or whether I feel hugs are a gift. and then I realized (thru Rocky’s answer of “hugs”) that they’re asking which of the 3 I’d prefer. I think it depends on the source. I mean, there are some people I wouldn’t want close contact with, but whom I wouldn’t mind talking to on the phone. And then there are those few whom I’m always preparing to pounce on. Yes, like a lithe jungle cat.
49. What Is Your Favorite Dessert? oh, so many. I had creme brulee last nite. WAIT a minute. I just realized the menu said vanilla chocolate swirl creme brulee and there was NO chocolate in it whatsoever! Hmmph. I’m gonna blog about this.
