In a recent post where I’d posted a highly intellectual conversation between me and James (*cough*), Jordan commented that if we posted OUR conversations, we’d lose credibility. I disagreed, since most of my and Jordan’s conversations deal with scholarly topics such as biology and anatomy. For example, there’s this one today via email:
Me:
So is there any day you’re not working this week? Aside from today, I see.
Jordan:
I had class today…. a bunch of inservices from 8-4. So… like, do you have elongated nipples or like, irregularly long ones?? I need to know.
I was in a breastfeeding inservice this morning and this is what I heard.
“90% of Asian women have elongated nipples, they usually don’t have a problem breastfeeding”
Is the rumor true???!!!
Me:
What are elongated nipples? How about I just send you a photo? I don’t know if I’m normal cuz I haven’t examined other people’s nipples.
And then I thought, hey, I have a better source for an answer here! Mr. W was online, and he’s seen tons and tons of nipplage in his day. So I IMed him:
me: Do I have elongated nipples?
Jordan wants to know.

Huh. I guess I don’t. There ya go, Jordan. I’m resourceful. 🙂 Altho…now I’m wondering whether my mom has elongated nipples. ACK! Stupid Jordan!! That’s just wrong! (I bet you’re all thinking about all the Asian women you know, now. You can blame Jordan.)
I just choked on a piece of chocolate. See, while we’re having our conversations, I really don’t think much of it.. but then when it’s all laid out on display, I feel silly. But it made me laugh. The thing is.. I was being serious. I just wanted to know if it was true that Asian women have elongated nipples… NOT long boobies or anything just nipples that are… LONG(er) than average. Like you never looked at other people’s boobies. gah.
Let’s ask James. (not about yours of course… but he is a p-daddy these days with all his girls, so he should know)
DON’T MAKE ME GO to some asian fetish website and see for myself. (not that I would). I want to know why asians have longer nips than everyone else…

I don’t know that it IS true that Asian women have longer nips. I mean, there are mainstream Asian porn stars, and they look normal… I think. Great. You’re gonna make me go home and watch my porn on slow-mo with my nose 2 inches from the TV screen. Cuz THAT’S how I wanna spend Valentine’s Day.

Interesting that you bring up nipples… I was having a conversation while getting tea this morning with a co-worker about them. Not sure how it came up, but her sister has inverted ones. She can’t breast feed. You learn something new each day. How do you know if you have inverted nipples? Maybe Jordan knows?
inverted nipples are just nipples that are turned inwards….. it’s difficult but NOT impossible to breastfeed. I guess if you can just picture a ‘normal’ areola with a crease in the center instead of a protruding nipple, that’s an inverted nip.
ps.. yes, ask your dad….. I want to see THAT conversation

Now that you mention it though I think more asian girls tend to have the pointy “Eraser” type nipples, versus non-asians who tend to have the softer type. I suppose that could count as “elongated”
Just to be sure I think you all should show me and I’ll make final judgement.

Flat Coke – I did a lot of ‘research’ last night for the good of Cindy’s blog, of course, and looks like all my porn has no asian women, so I am no help. =D
Flat Coke – did not do research the way Vanessa did (altho MY porn has some Asians in there), but I did stare at my own boobies for an extended amount of time. By that I mean about half a minute collectively, which is way longer than I’d ever looked at them before. (I know, I know, I should be doing self exams monthly, blah blah.)
Cindy — Cute girls get a little more latitude when it comes to things like that 🙂

Flat Coke – I’m not sure that Porn would be an accurate representation. They choose women for porn based on certain qualities. We need to figure it out based on real people with real boobies :).

With all the nipples I’ve seen, both in real life and on video, I don’t really see that asians have nipples longer than anybody else. I mean that really depends on the person. Maybe it’s a south east asian thing or something?
